Fred Daly - the experience behind the technology.
In 1947, with a total score of 293 around Hoylake, Fred Daly was the only Irishman from either side of the border to have won The Open - a record he held until Padraig Harrington claimed the trophy in 2007 and 2008. Outside of the majors and in addition to playing in the Ryder Cup four times in 1947, 1949, 1951 and 1953, Fred also won the British Matchplay three
times making him only the 2nd person in the 20th Century to do the double of The Open and the Matchplay; firmly cementing his name in both British and Irish golf Legend. It was however not just on the course that Fred was part of the game, as he was heavily involved with the design and development of the clubs which he played with - and put his name on.
Today, Fred’s son Robin Daly, himself a Professional Golfer for many years as both player and coach, is continuing the Daly family’s involvement in this aspect of the game as the designer behind the development of the unique technology which we implement within our clubs. Drawing on his own experience, and indeed that of his father’s, allows us to develop a product range with performance, consistency and, most importantly, feel in mind - that really will make a difference to your game.

Robin’s involvement in golf began at a very early age, travelling with his parents to Tournaments his father was playing in and of course at his father’s Pro Shop. One of the first PGA Professionals qulified through PGA training, Robin Daly draws on years of experience as a player and coach and is proud to continue his family’s involvement in the game of golf.

The secret to the putters’ improved feel and consistency, our new Bi-Concave Profile enlarges the ‘sweet spot’ by reducing the mass behind the striking point - making it more resistant to twisting on off-centre impacts.
By perfectly balancing the clubhead around this technology, the precision range putters feature an exceptional feel, giving the ultimate stability, consistency and accuracy.
Repeatable Anchor System
Key to repeatable putting is the correct set-up of the clubhead on address. The Repeatable Anchor System incorporates two flat areas on the sole which allow the player to feel when the putter is sitting flat on the putting surface. This ensures a repeatable and consistent hand position in setup and delivers a solid platform upon which the ideal putting stroke is built - putt after putt.
It’s technical name is the ‘Bi-Concave Profile, Repeatable Anchor System, Putting Green Apparatus’ ...we just call it the Peanut Putter!
The combination of traditional toe-heel weighting with our unique Patented technology results in a consistent and repeatable set-up, smooth and steady putting stroke and larger sweet spot - ensuring confidence and accuracy on the greens. Feel the difference - sink more putts with the Peanut Putter!
Enhanced with feedback from our players on Tour, the Pro Blade incorporates our Peanut Putter technology into a very traditional head format. Featuring a plain heel shafted hosel providing more toe flow than a face balanced design; with no shaft offset, this putter is CNC machined from 303 Stainless Steel and finished in low glare Black Tin Nickel Plating. The Pro Blade is designed to be unassuming behind the ball at address and yet still incorporate our unique technology for the ultimate forgiveness and feel.

The Profile is a mid mallet putter designed to enhance alignment and stability throughout the stroke. With an alignment profile behind the ball and a very low centre of gravity this putter gives players maximum forgiveness and control. CNC finished in Black Tin Nickel Plated 303 Stainless Steel, weighting is balanced across the face; the combination of this balance and low centre of gravity ensures the head is resistant to twisting and stroke path deviations which results in a smooth and steady putting stroke and more confidence.

Our first full mallet putter, the Funnel lives up to its name with a well defined aligment profile that enhances setup, built into a compact and well balanced head, ensuring you drain your putts!
The Funnel is fully face balanced and features a heel entry triple bend shaft providing a full shaft of offset. As with all of our Peanut Putter range, the Bi-Concave Profile and Repeatable Anchor System are elegantly incoproated into the design creating a stable and forgiving putter.
