Fred Daly Trophy
We are very proud that the GUI Irish Boys Trophy carries the Fred Daly name and nurtures the next generation of Irish Amateur talent. All players must be under 18 years of age on 1st January in the year of the Championship.
Started in memory of Robin's father and Ireland's first Open Champion Fred Daly by the GUI, the Fred Daly Trophy has been competed for since 1995 and the Championship is open to all Clubs affiliated to the Golfing Union of Ireland. Each Club is entitled to enter one team consisting of seven members. Play is Matchplay in both the Provincial Qualifying Rounds and and National sections.
NATIONAL FINALS 2012
The National Finals of the 2012 Fred Daly Trophy will be held at Loughrea Golf Club on the 28th August 2012.
